The Bahrain International Circuit is located in the Sakhir desert, approximately 30-35km south of the capital, Manama. While the remote location offers a unique atmosphere, it requires advance planning as there is no direct rail link and traffic can be heavy on race weekend.
Metro / Train
Bahrain does not currently have an operational metro or train system. Fans should avoid looking for rail options and instead rely on the highly efficient official shuttle network or rideshare services.
Official Shuttle Bus
Free shuttles run every 45 minutes for ticket holders from Bahrain International Airport and major hotel hubs in Manama (Seef, Juffair, and the Diplomatic Area). These are the most reliable way to reach the track, operating from 10:00 AM until late evening.
Taxi / Rideshare
Uber and Careem are widely available and typically cost 10β20 BHD ($27β$53 USD) from Manama. Use the official drop-off zones to avoid the worst traffic, and be prepared for significant surge pricing and long wait times immediately following the podium ceremony.
