Travel Guide
Barcelona in June is a motorsport paradise, offering the perfect blend of world-class racing and vibrant city life. As the 2026 season heats up, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya remains a fan favorite for its high-energy atmosphere and iconic track layout.
Take the R2 or R2 Nord line from Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gràcia, or El Clot-Aragó to Montmeló station (25-30 mins, ~€2.80). From the station, it is a 30-45 minute walk to the track, though free shuttles usually run to the gates on race weekend.
The most convenient option, these direct coaches run from Estació del Nord (near Arc de Triomf) and drop you just 300m from the circuit entrance. Tickets cost ~€20-25 return and should be booked in advance via the Sagalés website to guarantee a seat.
Expect to pay €70-90 for a one-way trip from central Barcelona. While fast on Friday, Sunday traffic can cause massive delays; ensure your driver drops you at the designated taxi zone and be prepared for long waits when trying to leave the circuit after the podium.
