Our Guide was very nice, but his English could have been better. We saw some interesting things in Al Balad, the old town, but e.g. not the Souk, which was a pity. Our drive along the Corniche to the Floating Mosque took a long time due to the traffic. This should been considered when planning and offering tours in Jeddah.

I had Mohammed for a private tour, and it was just fantastic. Seeing the old town in the afternoon and evening light, as well as learning about local customs and Middle Eastern philosophies was super enlightening. Mohammed is kind and informed and funny, too! Walks around the sea where families are enjoying themselves as well as the Yacht Club area puts you right in the middle of the local culture. His openness to discussions of all things Saudi Arabia will allow you to truly appreciate your time in Jeddah. Highly recommend this tour.
