How to get to the circuit?

Zandvoort is a car-free zone during the GP. The best way is by train from Amsterdam Centraal or Haarlem, taking about 30 minutes. The circuit is a 15-minute walk from the Zandvoort aan Zee station. Cycling is also highly recommended and very Dutch!

When to arrive at the track?

Gates typically open at 8:00 AM. If you have General Admission tickets, arrive at least an hour before opening to secure the best vantage point on the dunes. For grandstand holders, arriving by 10:00 AM ensures you catch all the support races.

What to do between sessions?

Head to the F1 Fan Zone for simulators and live music, or take a short walk to the beach clubs for a break by the North Sea. The town center also hosts various 'Zandvoort Beyond' events with racing displays and local food stalls.

Where to eat near the circuit?

Getting to the Circuit

The Dutch Railways (NS) runs a dedicated shuttle service with trains departing Amsterdam Centraal and Haarlem every 5 minutes. The journey takes 30 minutes from Amsterdam, and the Zandvoort aan Zee station is a scenic 15-minute walk from the track. Note: Bicycles are not allowed on trains during race weekend.

Cycling is the fastest way for those within 25km. Massive guarded bike parks are located near the circuit gates. If driving from further away, use 'Park + Bike' lots in Langevelderslag to park your car and cycle the final 30 minutes through the dunes to bypass all traffic.

Official shuttle buses run from over 140 locations across the Netherlands, including major cities like Rotterdam and Utrecht. These coaches use dedicated 'bus-only' lanes to skip the queues and drop fans at the DGP Bus Station, just 400 meters from the main circuit entrance.

Taxi / Rideshare

Taxis and Ubers are strictly prohibited from entering Zandvoort. They must drop passengers at designated 'Kiss + Ride' hubs in Beverwijk or Velsen. From there, you must board an official shuttle bus for the final 15-minute leg of the journey to the circuit.
