The group started at 9 a.m., but I missed it by 10 minutes. I thought I’d have to rebook, but another guide gave me a tour, which was great. I had time to shop and enjoy the views. It was a bit tricky to use the e-scooter at first and during rush hour, but the guide was very helpful and reassuring throughout. I’d definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone. Just make sure you’re familiar with an e-scooter or something similar before booking to make it easier! 😉

We hadden een super leuke en enthousiaste gids Mei die ons vertelde over de geschiedenis van Shanghai en ons door het voormalige Japanse, Britse en Franse deel leidde. Heel veel gezien op de fiets en tussendoor een lokale snack en water. Heel veel gefietst langs de highlights van Shanghai. Omdat we een avondtour hadden geboekt was het goed te doen qua temperatuur. Jammer dat we iets later startten omdat medereizigers niet op tijd waren. Maar na wachten besloot onze gids met ons te vertrekken want wij waren immers wel op tijd. Het latere vertrek werd meer dan goed gemaakt!
