Travel Guide
Experience the ultimate test of man and machine at the historic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the crown jewel of the Ardennes Forest. As the longest track on the F1 calendar, Spa offers a unique blend of high-speed sweeps, dramatic elevation changes, and the most iconic corners in motorsport.
The most reliable route involves taking a train to Verviers-Central station, with direct links from Brussels (75m), Liège (25m), and Aachen (30m). Fans can typically purchase a special 'Event Train Ticket' at a 50% discount using their GP ticket code. On race day, additional late-evening services are added to help clear the crowds.
From Verviers station, take the dedicated TEC shuttle buses (Lines 294/395) directly to the track for approximately €10 return on Sunday. For a stress-free experience, pre-book a 'City Shuttle' coach from major hubs like Brussels, Antwerp, or Eindhoven, which cost between €65 and €105 for a guaranteed seat and direct access.
Taxis and Ubers are extremely limited and expensive, with a one-way trip from Liège costing upwards of €150. Most drivers are restricted to the same traffic-heavy routes as private cars, so they offer little time-saving benefit. If using a taxi, ensure your drop-off point is near the 'La Source' or 'Combes' gates to minimize extra walking.
