Travel Guide
The Bahrain Grand Prix returns to Sakhir for 2026, offering fans a spectacular night race experience in the heart of the desert. As the fourth round of the season, the Bahrain International Circuit promises intense wheel-to-wheel action and a festive atmosphere under its iconic floodlights.
Bahrain does not currently have an operational metro or train system. Fans should avoid looking for rail options and instead rely on the highly efficient official shuttle network or rideshare services.
Free shuttles run every 45 minutes for ticket holders from Bahrain International Airport and major hotel hubs in Manama (Seef, Juffair, and the Diplomatic Area). These are the most reliable way to reach the track, operating from 10:00 AM until late evening.
Uber and Careem are widely available and typically cost 10–20 BHD ($27–$53 USD) from Manama. Use the official drop-off zones to avoid the worst traffic, and be prepared for significant surge pricing and long wait times immediately following the podium ceremony.
