There is not just one thing I enjoyed about our tour today... every moment was a highlight... from the tea, ghahwa, tour of Al Fatah Mosque, National Museum, Bahrain Fort, Lunch!! and more was absolutely an enlightened experience. Husain Al Habib was my tour guide and he was amazing. So knowledgeable and gave loads of insight into all aspects of Bahrain history and enjoyed being asked questions about so many different things that I was interested in. We went to the Bahrain museum which was really interesting; Husain knew the place inside out. Then to the mosque where I was taken round the inside of the mosque and told about all the country’s that contributed to the making of the mosque. Quite, cool and peaceful. Next was the fort and Husain gave so much information about this. It was great to see the 2 seas. Lunch was traditional and very tasty and the sook (market) was wonderful. Husain went above and beyond taking me to a shop before transfer back to the hotel. He provided snacks and water, tea and coffee as well. He has a genuine love for what he does and you can tell that by how he gives all the information over. He loves to share information about his country and culture making this a truly special tour.
