The tour around the mosque was very interesting and done really well. But the other parts of the half day tour were a bit lacking. It kind of felt as though they were just filling time. Yes, it was good to see the founders memorial but I’m not sure a visit to the dates market was particularly worthwhile. Our guide, Manuela, was brilliant and explained everything very clearly and concisely.

Great tour to give a sense of Abu Dhabi and tick off some key sights. Yes, you could probably visit everything more cheaply if you organised your own transport, but for us it was well worth paying to have everything organised and see a lot in one morning with a friendly, knowledgeable guide. In particular, it relieved a bit of stress about dress-code and etiquette for visiting the mosque.
